Pilates Instructor Training Program begins soon
Reach Pilates Studio is now offering a comprehensive instructor training program. The program consists of three phases and spans fifteen months. Trainees will learn the principles of the Pilates method, how to teach all of the classical Pilates exercises on traditional Pilates apparatus, as well as anatomy and biomechanics as they relate to Pilates. Participants will also learn how to enhance the customer experience by identifying client motivation, setting specific and realistic goals, and designing individualized training programs.

Available Positions:
Reception Desk
Description:
Greeting members and guests, answering telephone, scheduling appointments, assisting members with retail purchases and club amenities, presenting membership information to prospective members, promoting club services and activities. Customer service experience a plus.
Personal Trainer
Description:
Provide personal training services to members and guest, assist members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts and support and motivate members to meet their fitness goals.
Qualifications:
Degree in fitness related field or nationally accredited certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, etc.) and a current CPR certification are required.
Group Exercise Instructor
Description:
Teach group exercise classes, assist members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts, support and encourage members to meet their fitness goals .
Qualifications:
Experience in teaching group exercise classes. A national certification in group exercise and a current CPR certification are required.
Pilates Instructor
Description:
Teach group exercise and private classes, assist members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts, support and encourage members to meet their fitness goals .
Qualifications:
Must be certified on at least two of the following pieces of apparatus:
- Mat (all levels)
- Reformer (all levels)
- Cadillac/trapeze table (all levels)
- Chair (all levels).
Current CPR certification is required.
Exercise Specialist
Description:
Provide fitness services to members and guests, instruct members on using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts. Market, schedule, administer, and oversee fitness assessments and weight orientations. Create and conduct monthly fitness programs, weight floor classes, incentive programs, and equipment education.
Qualifications:
Degree in fitness related field or similar health related field, experience in exercise testing (lab) and prescription, current CPR certification. Corporate fitness experience and personal training certifications are a plus.
Intern
Description:
Reach offers internships throughout the year at its corporate fitness sites. Undergraduates or graduates with or pursuing a degree in Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Physical Education, Recreation, Health Promotion, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include fitness management, implementation of wellness programs, fitness assessments, weight room orientations, and fitness center supervision. Current CPR certification is required.
